Paul Sánchez is a three-time Grammy-nominated artist from Quito, Ecuador. His musical journey started in a family of musicians, where his passion took root and grew.
He began learning music at a young age, attending the National Conservatory and playing with the Brass Band of Ecuador. At just 14, he dived into Jazz studies at the University of San Francisco de Quito.
In 2009, Paul earned a full scholarship to the University of North Texas, setting the stage for his remarkable career. A year later, he won first place in the "Emisarios Del Jazz" competition in Ecuador, leading to performances at the Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshops and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
In March 2011, Paul received the prestigious Presidential Scholarship at Berklee College of Music, sharing stages with renowned artists like Luis Enrique and Paquito D’ Rivera.
Today, Paul collaborates with various artists and major labels like Sonny and BMI, captivating audiences worldwide. He's gearing up for the release of his debut album in 2024, promising a blend of his artistic vision and musical skill.
